GAZİ METAL, which completed its first stage investment in 2014, reached full capacity production in 2016. The Steel Production Plant is developing the economy of the province as the first heavy industrial investment in the Karasu region. GAZİ METAL, which not only affects the economy but also owns Karasu, became the most important supporter of social projects by supporting local NGOs in 2016. KARGENÇ and SAKDER, two important non-governmental initiatives of the province, work in cooperation with GAZİ METAL.

BECAME A LIFESAVER

SAKDER Chairman Selçuk BATMAN; "In 2016, when we actively acted, we voluntarily established our association with our own means. There was a need for this initiative in our district, which is always very close to the center of nature activities and to a certain degree of disaster risk. We needed critical equipment to get started and GAZI METAL believed and supported us. In the first year, we tried to provide social benefit and support by interfering with many unfortunate events such as mine accident in the region, drowning cases, Bartın flood disaster.

I would like to thank not as the management of the SAKDER but as a citizen, to GAZI METAL, especially Mehmet GAZİOĞLU, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, who was interested in supporting us, because he provides collective value to the society.

THEY ARE WORKING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND FOR THE FUTURE

KARGENÇ's club, founded with volunteer teachers and a few volunteer citizens who have devoted themselves to the development of Karasu, has been changing the rules since the day the club was first established. Carrying the young people of the district to the world with international projects, KARGENÇ went to the EUROJIADA 2016 International Sports competitions organized with the participation of 16 countries in Czech Republic Prague. KARGENÇ, who produced three teams from Karasu, thanked GAZİ METAL, which is the main sponsor of this event, especially Mehmet GAZİOĞLU, Vice Chairman of the Board, who is closely interested and in communication with us.
