Acid Regeneration Plant;
The dirty acid from the pickling line (high iron density) is recovered for reuse.
In the process of cleaning sheet surface in pickling line, Iron content in the acid is increased and the cleaning function is lost. Then, the acid is sent to the dirty acid tanks in the tank farm. The stored dirty acid is transported to the acid regeneration plant for the removal of the iron in it. Here, a high iron-rich acid is reacted at 850 ° C in the reactor to separate it from the iron content and the clean acid obtained as a result of the following processes is stored in regeneration acid tanks.
The stored regenerated acid is sent to the pickling line according to the requirement of the pickling line.
The resulting iron oxide is used as a by-product.
